Low Tide, Yellow Boats, Persistant Fog.

The title really says it all. Low tide is strangely beautiful when the river is down to mud flats. Thayer's currently consists of mostly yellow boats. Our soggy springtime just can't seem to give us a break. It's like we've been living in a cloud for the past week. At least all the yellow adds a bit of cheer.

Spring Baby

The weather forecast from this morning...

I was thrilled to be having a spring baby. The lilacs would be in bloom, we'd go for long walks, we'd sit out in the cockpit enjoying the warm weather...

Well, thankfully the lilacs are in bloom, but that's about it. We have learned to fully appreciate the few nice days that we are granted, because they are very far between.

In the meantime, we've been enjoying the baby during the cold, rainy days. She loves her bath and is learning to roll over whenever the opportunity arises.

Plimouth, and a growing baby

Ivy is cute as a button and growing all the time. We went to the doc a couple weeks ago for a checkup and she was already over 10 lbs! She had also gained an inch and half in height! Crazy! She has a little bit of baby acid reflux. It causes her to puke sometimes and occasionally gives her a cranky day or two. Luckily those days seem to be more of the exception. For the most part she is very healthy and happy.

For Jenny's first Mother's Day we took a little road trip down to Plymouth Ma. It isn't very far, but we hadn't been there yet. It is a very nice little town. There is a replica of the original Mayflower ship there. It was built in 1958 in Plymouth UK and then sailed across the Atlantic to Plymouth MA. What an incredible journey to take in such a scary looking tub!

We also went there partly because there was a "yard sale" being held by Jesse's Marine. We managed to get a Jabsco water pump used for FIVE DOLLARS! What a deal.

Ivy doesn't seem to be enjoying the sun as much as us here.

It was a beautiful sunny day, and one of the few we've had lately. We ate ice cream and walked the town for a while. It really was a great day.
